About Us

Newcastle Design was founded by Ronan Carey & Phillip Hempenstall in 1997. Both cabinetmakers and experienced furniture designers they decided to go into partnership and Newcastle Design was born. Ronan, Phillip along with their team of staff including experienced kitchen designers, cabinetmakers and fitters, offer you all your bespoke furniture requirements.

Newcastle Design was originally located in Newcastle, Co. Wicklow but in November 2005 due to rapid expansion relocated to our purpose built factory in Rathnew, Co. Wicklow. The new 17,000 square foot state of the art manufacturing facility is fully equipped to deal with any challenges sent our way. Included in our premises is our 3500 square foot showroom. On display are an extensive range of kitchens, wardrobes and studies.

Please note we will, if required fully organise and schedule any building, electrical, plumbing, tiling, and decorating that you may require. Along with this we will organise any worktop options that you may select.
 
We also employ an interior colour consultant, who will give expert advice on colour / interior choices.
