How We Work

Step 1 – Get In Touch

Our showroom is by appointment only, and is open Monday to Friday. To begin talking with one of our design team about your project, you can email us your plans or if you don’t have plans, photos and measurements of the space will work too. From this our design team will review and revert back to you promptly with a guide price for the work. They can then arrange to book you in for a consultation soon after that if our price is within budget.

Alternatively, we can, if necessary, meet you at your home to take measurements and gather your initial information. We can also, if you wish, meet with your architect, interior designer or builder at this point or at any stage in the process.

Step 2 – Our Design Time

We require approximately four to six working days to work on your initial design concept.

At this stage you will have been invited to our showroom to discuss the detailed design and exact product costing on all work involved.

Step 3 -Design Revisions

It is not uncommon for designs to be revised several times before they are finalised, however we will be seeking a decision from you after the second revised drawing / costing to see if you will be partnering with us for your desired furniture.

Step 4 – Design Completion

Once you are happy with our design proposals and costings and wish to proceed with your order, a final meeting be required in our showroom to select and finalise all finishes etc. A deposit will be required at this point. Following this final meeting your designer will visit your site / home to finalise the order details thus ensuring every aspect of your product will be made to perfection.

Our colour consultant will also arrange to meet with you at your site / home to assist with styling your room(s) to complement our furniture and to select all colours with you.

Step 5 – Installation

Phillip Hempenstall, co-founder and co-owner of Newcastle Design, will oversee the complete running of your project on the ground and will arrange to meet you during the installation and again at the end of the project at the handover stage. Phillip will be fully briefed on every aspect of the project from the design finalisation by his fellow co-owner, Ronan Carey. This approach ensures that every client can rest assured that they are dealing with both owners of the company from beginning to end.

Please remember:

At Newcastle Design we are unique because, through ongoing product innovation and a dedication to the highest level of customer service, we offer our clients a friendly, knowledgeable, trustworthy service along with an end product that they will enjoy for years to come and will recommend to others.
