Newcastle Design – As seen on The Irish Independent

newcastle design news coverage

We were delighted to have found ourselves featured in two fantastic articles written by Independent.ie over the weekend. At Newcastle Design, our passion is at the core of our business, and so seeing our work promoted in the media is highly rewarding. The first article mentions budding interior designer Jean Hughes, who worked with us to create the kitchen of her dreams for her Drumcondra home. The space includes a pantry, built-in appliances and a kitchen island capable of seating four people. Another feature is the banquette seating area, which Jean used to make the square extension more cohesive and bring the two sides together. This type of kitchen seating can also be incorporated into window seating, which offers a unique opportunity to enhance the beauty of natural light in your kitchen. For some inspiration on this read our blog on window seating ideas.

As seen in the second article, Newcastle Design were the designers of a bespoke, hand-painted kitchen for a beautiful new Sandycove house. This contemporary classic slim shaker style kitchen is set to be fitted with stone worktops, Neff induction hob and ovens, as well as an integrated dishwasher and fridge. The house is part of a new building scheme called Finisterre, led by Rees Kavanagh, on a site once occupied by two period-style bungalows. We are very excited to see how this impressive project unfolds.
